The movie follows the story of an Aboriginal Australian on the run because he shot a white man in self-defense.
This cinematic experience closely relates to the events of the Stolen Generations. It tells the story of three young girls escaping a reeducation camp, that aims to eradicate their aboriginal origins.
It is the story of Charlie. He is an aboriginal man who struggles to fit into society especially when he tries to return to his aboriginal roots.
